The Ortlinghaus Pneumatic Clutch/Brake Plates your company uses should be relined with original Ortlinghaus friction linings, due to several important factors.

The Ortlinghaus pneumatic clutch/brake is carefully engineered to give reliable and consistent preformance. Even though Ortlinghaus friction material on the plates are manufactured for minimum wear and long life, they still need to be replaced when worn. Relining the plates with orginal Ortlinghaus friction linings, specially developed for these combination units, assures the unit will give "new condition" performance.

Our Ortlinghaus material is unique for the following reasons:

It is a NON-ASBESTOS material.
It can handle HIGH SURFACE SPEEDS in excess of 6,600 ft.min. and DISSIPATE THE HEAT generated by the clutching and braking actions.
It's COEFFICENT OF FRICTION gives the consistent clutch and brake torque necessary over the life of the lining material.
The relined plate duplicates the location, thickness and bonding process of the original plates, thus eliminating the potentially poor performance and wear of the non-Ortlinghaus linings.

Your worn plates can be sent directly to ORTTECH, the exclusive North American Distributor for Ortlinghaus products. Our relining program operates so that a relined set of plates can be shipped to you the SAME DAY. Credit is issued upon receipt of your worn plates, providing they are in reusable condition.
