- Determine if you are working with a clutch, tooth clutch, electrically applied brake, or a spring set brake.
- Determine if the unit operates in a dry or oil condition.
- Determine if the unit is a single plate or multiple plate.
- Determine if the unit uses wires, terminal block, connection block or a single or double slipring.
